🚧 Free plan limits
We want the Free plan to be genuinely useful — not a teaser. Here's exactly what's gated, and why:
Limit 1: 3 artboards per file
The Free plan converts the first 3 artboards of your .xd file. This is enough to evaluate conversion quality on a real screen and confirm the plugin works for your design. There's no artboard picker — selection is automatic (first 3 by file order). The Pro plan removes this cap entirely.
Limit 2: 30 MB file size
Files up to 30 MB run on the Free plan. Most single-screen and small project files fit comfortably. Larger team libraries or design systems typically need the Pro plan's 300 MB ceiling.
Limit 3: Advanced conversions gated
Components, Variants, Auto Layout, prototypes, and document styles are conversions where the engineering complexity of mapping between XD and Figma is significant — these are the Pro-tier features. Free plan still produces a usable Figma file with shapes / text / styles / groups / images, so you can confirm the conversion quality before upgrading.

❓ Pricing FAQ
Is the Free plan time-limited?
No. The Free plan is permanently free with no expiration. You can install it from the Figma Community and use it indefinitely on files that fit within the 30 MB / 3 artboard limits.
Is the Pro plan really a one-time purchase?
Yes. $29 once, and you get every Pro feature forever. No subscriptions, no renewal fees, no per-file charges. Future plugin updates are included.
What happens if I exceed Free limits during conversion?
For artboards: the plugin converts the first 3 by file order. For file size: the conversion won't start on files above 30 MB. In both cases the plugin tells you exactly which limit was hit, so you can decide whether to upgrade or split the file.
Can I try Pro before purchasing?
The Free plan is the trial — it converts the basic structure of your file so you can verify layout fidelity, text rendering, and style accuracy on your actual data. If the Free conversion looks right, the Pro conversion typically does too, because both use the same core engine. Pro just unlocks the advanced conversion paths.
Do you offer refunds?
Pro purchases are processed by Figma. Refund requests follow Figma Community's plugin refund policy. If you have specific issues, contact us at mail@yanch10.com and we'll help resolve them.
Can I use Pro on multiple projects / Figma accounts?
The Pro license is tied to your Figma account. Once purchased, you can use Pro features on any file you have access to, including team files, as long as you're the one running the conversion.
Is my file data uploaded to any external server?
No. Pixel Fine Converter runs entirely within Figma (browser or desktop app). .xd files are processed locally on your machine, and no design data leaves your environment. Both Free and Pro use the same local-processing model.
